Interesting. Who knew that I could actually feed my dog bamboo shoots? Well, I don’t mind. I eat it too so they are welcome to join in. Lol.

Same with me. I don’t mind giving them too. Though I’m always very conscious about giving them what I eat. But I think I’ll just stick to the one in their canned foods so I don’t regret it later.

I don’t really know much about bamboo shoots but I think I have come across it been added to some canned dog foods. I don’t even know it’s nutritional benefits, but since it’s recommended, we are good.

Lol. And I thought I’m just the only one who is not all that into reading and understanding ingredients in dog food. I feel that since the manufacturers and FDA say it’s safe for them, well let’s just go ahead and feed them.

Thank you for this. Because of its choking hazards that I’ve heard of, I totally wrote off bamboo shoots as being edible for dogs. Thankfully it is edible, I’ll be careful to cook them next time I want to serve it to my dog.

Bamboo shoots are a great source of dietary fiber and help to fight bacteria in the bodies of both humans and dogs. It also helps the heart and helps to maintain normal blood pressure. I’m sure this info will come handy for most dog owners, especially the new ones.

Yeah, bamboo shoots are very healthy for dogs and most of them enjoy the taste. But still, it’s better to give them in moderation so they don’t have any issues. It’s unlikely, but better to avoid it.
