Yeah, dogs that eat alfalfa sprouts stand to gain some healthy nutrients like protein, minerals, and vitamins just like we do. This is why I always recommend it and some other vegetables like delicata squash for some dogs recovering from certain issues. It helps them a lot.
I feed my dog what I eat most times and it’s so good to know that it’s been safe all along eating sprouts with me and that it can gain as much nutrients as I do from them. Thank you. You guys are really wonderful!
Oh that is true. I have come across many natural pet food manufacturers that include these sprouts in their dog food recipes and it sells well. I’m usually conscious of what I feed my dogs as the last one I had, I lost it to food poisoning.
Oh my. Really sorry about your last dog. I may have been careless though. I don’t usually check the nutritional benefits of any food I buy for mine. I just pick it off the shelf if the name sounds good and throw it into the cart. I guess I’ll be more careful about this now.
