Can my dog eat Acorn squash or Pepper squash?
Acorn squash, also known as pepper squash, is a winter vegetable. You’ll know this fruit by its green exterior—it has long ridges from the top of the veggie to the bottom. The inside contains yellow flesh that’s a bit sweet. This is mainly grown in North and Central America, though it’s also become popular in Europe.
Dogs can eat acorn squash, but it should be cooked before they eat it. Cooking makes this veggie easier for dogs to digest. Also, be sure to remove the skin and the seeds, as these are poisonous for dogs.
