Sure, onions contain a substance that is dangerous for dogs. Even given in very little quantities is not advisable regardless of whether your dog likes it or not. Just don’t make it a habit of adding it to their meals as garnishing.
I’ve always kinda known onions might be harmful for a dog but Vidalia as well? I’m an onion junkie and I feel sorry for new my dog, she won’t be able to taste majority of my meals.
