Kale is a leaf cabbage and is considered a very healthy leafy green. Kale is chocked full of nutrition and includes Vitamins A, B6, C, & K, copper, potassium, magnesium, and more. This yummy leafy green veggie can be enjoyed raw or cooked—enjoy it in a salad, or enjoy it steamed, sautéed, or as an addition to a healthy soup. And don’t forget—you can also add this healthy veggie to your favorite smoothies.

Can my dog eat kale? Yes—your dog can enjoy the health benefits of kale. Can my puppy eat kale? Yes, your puppy can also enjoy kale, but only in moderation. It’s usually best to cook veggies (kale’s easy to steam) before serving them to your food baby. What would happen if my dog ate too much kale? Only give your dog kale in small amounts and as an occasional treat. Too much kale could cause him to have diarrhea or even lead him to developing bladder stones and kidney trouble.
