Yeah Dandelions are great for use in salads and other dishes. We eat that a lot in my home and my dogs always share in a little with us. I’ve always known it is safe because I always take caution in what I feed my dogs.

Nice. I wish my daughters would do same. We have had 3 dogs and I think it’s becoming a norm for them to feed the dog one thing that is not friendly for their stomach. I’m thinking about getting a dog sitter whenever I leave the house because they are not doing much in taking care of my dogs when I’m out. For this last dog, they let him wander and he ended up eating dandelions growing outside which were probably sprayed with pesticides. The vet said he did not get poisoned though, but he’s really not comfortable in his own skin.

I don’t even know why most people view dandelions as weeds. They are totally missing out on a lot of things both in delicacy and nutrients like iron and potassium and they don’t know it.

Wow! Although I always stop my dog from eating dandelions outside, I didn’t know that they could be this nutritious and not all poisonous. Thanks for this, I’ll be conscious to start adding them to his meals.
