Tadpole Water & Dogs
We did the research and weren’t able to specifically find information about tadpole water and dogs. However, we were able to find information about toad spawn and dogs.
Toads are different than frogs, but they also lay their eggs in water. Toad spawn typically looks like a long, clear string with black dots in it. The black dots are the toad babies, which develop in small sacks until they’re older.
Can toad spawn water make a dog sick? The answer is yes! The reason is that toad spawn contains toxins that are similar to digitalis. This is a chemical that can affect a dog’s nervous system.
