Seasol is a type of fertilizer made in Australia. It’s made from two types of seaweed: bull kelp (Durvillaea potatorum) and knotted kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum). Bull kelp grows in the ocean off the coast of Tasmania. Knotted kelp grows in shallow waters in the North Atlantic Ocean. The product contains potassium hydroxide 0.5%, the only active ingredient in Seasol.

The product contains naturally occurring growth stimulants (found in seaweed) that can help plants grow and increase the plants’ reproductive capacity. - Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Nausea
If you notice these symptoms and they don’t seem severe, then monitor your dog over the next 24 hours. If the diarrhea and vomiting continue or worsen, call the vet immediately.
