Treatment of Bagels Ingestion in Dogs

The vet may also give the dog pain medications and antibiotics. And in some cases, they may also need to perform a procedure that removes the gas from the stomach.
In severe cases of bloat, the vet may also need to perform surgery to untwist the dog’s stomach or spleen and remove any part of the stomach that may have died to due loss of blood flow.
