Should You Leave Your Dog In The Dark?

Radicchio is a healthy leafy green veggie related to endive, and both are in the chicory family. It was first cultivated in Italy and has been used as a food source for thousands of years and continues to be a popular veggie in many parts of the world. There are several types of radicchio, but these are the three main varieties: Treviso, Chioggia, and Castelfranco. This veggie is a bit expensive, but is very healthy; it contains vitamins B1, B3, B5, B6, K, along with copper, iron, zinc and more. You can enjoy radicchio roasted, grilled, added to salads, etc.

Can my dog eat radicchio? Can my puppy eat radicchio? Yes, to both! Leafy greens, including radicchio, can help your dog get all the nutrients he needs. Leafy green veggies are filled with nutrients your dog needs, including fiber and essential vitamins. What if dog eating too much radicchio? As with other leafy greens, too much can cause your fur baby to develop digestive problems such as an upset stomach, excessive gas & bloating, and diarrhea. It’s a good idea to only serve leafy greens to your pup in small amounts and only once in a while. This will help you avoid possible digestive issues.

Who would feed dog radicchio though? Bougee much?! I mean it’s quite expensive, humans don’t even get to eat it so much. Why feed it to dogs then?

Yes it is a bit expensive, but if you are able to get it directly from local farmers, you may get it at a better price. As for dogs, they all love it as an addition to their food. I do recommend it to my clients who come in for diet plans for their dogs. And they all come back with positive feedbacks. Just don’t give them too much at once, they will be good.

Oh. That sounds good. Looks like I’ll introduce it to my dog too. Been a while we tried a new addition to his meals. It’s a good thing that it is very healthy and contains vitamins, copper, iron, and zinc. I’ll try it grilled meat since it’s like one of his favorite.
