Brussel sprouts are a type of cabbage, which are generally grown for their tasty young sprouts. They’re full of nutrients including Vitamin K, Vitamin C, B Vitamins, and more. They’re popular in all types of dishes and can be boiled, roasted and more.

Can my dog eat Brussel sprouts? Yes, but in moderation. What would happen if my dog ate too many Brussel sprouts? If your dog eats too many Brussel sprouts, he can suffer from excess gas, stomach problems and diarrhea in dogs. It’s safe to feed this veggie to your fur baby, but only do so once in a while. And make sure to cook the Brussel sprouts before serving them. What if my puppy ate Brussel sprouts? Your puppy can also enjoy a small amount of Brussel sprouts once in a while; if he eats too much, he will have the same gas/stomach/diarrhea issues.

My dog has been stooling for almost a day, this has confirmed my suspicion that it had to be the brussel sprouts, he had too much to eat and I just hope he’ll be okay.

I have tried feeding my dog the Brussel sprouts once but stopped. I can’t really remember what happened and why I stopped. I guess I fed him too much and he reacted to it or something like that. But I’ll try it again tomorrow and see how it goes.

Did you cook it before giving your dog the last time? If you didn’t, that may also be a reason why he’ll react to it. If you are trying it again, cook it well and try to give him only a little to be sure he won’t feel sick or something. If he doesn’t, you can start feeding him normal

Once my dog went ahead and finished the full bowl of cooked Brussels sprouts I had made for him to refrigerate and give him little once in a while. He didn’t fall sick immediately, but he had stomach problems later and it wasn’t funny.
