Keto Bread & Dogs

It’s generally thought that keto bread is not toxic to dogs. However, it’s essential to make sure the recipe doesn’t include xylitol.

Some keto bread recipes may use almond or nut flours. It is possible for some dogs to have an allergic reaction to these flours. What’s more, nuts are high in fat, which can cause pancreatitis in dogs.

So, for these reasons, we don’t recommend allowing your dog to eat keto bread. If your dog eats a small piece of this bread, chances are he will be OK. However, if you know your dog is allergic to nuts, then avoid feeding him keto bread.
