Rockmelon, also known as cantaloupe or muskmelon, is a small round melon. It’s popular fruit in the U.S. and Europe. Inside, the rockmelon has a yellow/orange “meat,” which tastes somewhat sweet. These sweet melons are healthy and packed with nutrition, including vitamins A, B6, C & K, calcium, folate, magnesium and more. They’re also high in antioxidants that work to fight free radicals in the body, which protect against cancer and other diseases. Cantaloupe also has anti-inflammatory properties to help with inflammation caused by arthritis and other conditions.
