As of January 2019, Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan offers four tiers: Gold status for 10,000 miles earned per year; Silver for 30,000 miles earned per year; Gold Premier for 60,000 miles earned per year; and Platinum Premier for 125,000 miles earned per year.

Effective since January 21, 2021 regarding their policies on bringing animals on their airlines, Alaska Airlines are no longer accepting emotional support animals and will only transport service animals, which are specifically and specially trained for those with disabilities.
Alaska Airlines now only allows service animals to accompany passengers in their cabins, for up to two animals per one passenger. The airline will require service dogs to be registered with the airline prior to being allowed to board a flight; the form will appear on the airline’s website starting on January 11, 2021.
DOT forms will also be posted on the airlines website prior to the flight. Attest that your service dog is regulated, properly registered and vaccinable, and that he will act properly throughout the flight.

What are their policies regarding animal behaviors when boarding their airlines?
They cannot permit passengers who travel with assisting animals to occupy emergency exit rows. They suggest choosing a seat with a high window, where the service animal can get a good view of the city. They also recommend not over-feed animals on the day of travel.
Animals that provide assistance are allowed to sit on floor space beneath them. If the service animals are no larger than the passenger, they can put their animal to be seated in their lap to accommodate their disabilities.
Alaska Airlines also expects the service animals to behave and not cause any disruptions to other passengers. They may not allow the service animals boarding their airlines if they barking excessively, showing aggressive behaviors, eating the plane’s seats and not responding to their handler’s or their owner’s command.
